Our Management Methods

Many pest control companies will use toxic means to eliminate pest activities in your homes and businesses. At greenway we attempt to offer you the most natural, safe, and effective pest control methods, to protect your home or business, without polluting the environment with harsh toxins.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Our use of the three-stage Integrated Pest Management (IPM) method of inspection, observation and intervention allows us to develop a comprehensive and customized program to ensure successful natural control of invasive pests in your home or business. Using this pest management tactic we will attempt to use the least toxic methods to control pest activity within and around your home or business. IPM is an effective and environmentally friendly approach to pest management recognized by many academic and governmental institutions such as; Penn State, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to name a few.

How We Will Implement IPM

inspection

The fact is that not all insects, rodents, and household pests present themselves in the same way every time. Each home, office, or business must be inspected fully in order to address the current, and potential pest activity. This will allow us to begin treating properly, according to the pest activity identified.

prevention

Our first attempt at prevention will always be to eliminate the conditions in which the pests are currently, or potentially, thriving in. As well as, addressing areas with cracks, gaps, open drains, and foundational gaps, by caulking or sealing them to keep pests out. In effort with you, we can help to reduce any likelihood that the pest activity will multiply.

Monitoring

To keep any new infestations from growing, we will always monitor with monitor stations, in order to stay ahead of pest activity. We will document any new or existing activity, to maintain where and when these problems occur. This is vital in allowing us to treat your home, office, or business, to the best of our abilities.
